Lamer B - Our carrier is suitable from birth (3.2 kg) up to 15 kg.
How do you know which size to take?
The Lamer x carrier comes in three sizes: 1, 2, 3.
The size should be chosen according to the wearer's body type (not the baby's).
The fabric is flexible enough for the baby to grow into.
Size 1 - primarily suitable for women/men who usually wear size S/M.
Size 2 - primarily suitable for women/men who usually wear size L/XL.
Size 3 - primarily suitable for women/men who wear XXL.
Of course, you can always try it at home and exchange the size if needed.
For more information, please refer to the "Shipping, Exchanges, and Returns" page.
Can I exchange a baby carrier if the size/color doesn't suit me?
Certainly. The carrier can be measured at home, and if necessary, an exchange can be made within 30 days of receiving the delivery, provided it has not been used beyond trying it on and has not been washed.
For more details on exchanges, please refer to the "Exchanges and Returns" page on the website.
Can the carrier be returned if I didn't connect with it?
Sure. The carrier can be returned if it has not been used beyond trying it on and has not been washed, within 30 days of receiving the order.
For more information on returns, please refer to the "Exchanges and Returns" page on the website.
The size feels really small to me, isn't the baby too tight?
It is normal to feel at first that the carrier is very tight.
There can be a feeling that it is too tight, but a tight carrier is a safe carrier!
Also, because of its elasticity, over time the feeling will be a little looser because it will accept the body shape of you and the baby.
Please note that the dress and safety rules apply:
- Make sure the baby is at the right height, close enough for a kiss.
- Strong enough, that the baby really hugs you close (when his hands are inside the carrier)
- Always make sure the baby's airways are clear
- Note that the baby's hips are M-shaped
- Note that its spine is naturally rounded like a C
In any case, everyone has a different body shape, so you can always measure at home and return/exchange if necessary.
You can read more information on the "Deliveries, exchanges and returns" page.
Is there a warranty for the carrier?
Of course, the warranty is valid for one year. The warranty includes repair of seam allowance, zippers and buckles.
After about a year we can provide a repair service at a cost that will be determined according to the status of the case.
Can I breastfeed in a Lamer baby carrier?
Absolutely!
You can breastfeed in both the Lamer X and Lamer B carriers. Our carrier allows for comfortable and discreet breastfeeding when you are out of the house.
You just need to find the position that suits you and feels comfortable.
Please note that breastfeeding in a carrier requires continuous eye contact and avoiding distractions.
Ensure that the baby can control and move their head during breastfeeding in case they want to release the nipple from their mouth. Immediately after breastfeeding, reposition the baby safely with their face clear and the carrier worn according to the instructions.
Is it possible to carry the baby in a Lamer carrier facing outwards?
In both the Lamer x fabric carrier and the Lamer B structured carrier, you can carry the baby facing outwards. From 5-6 months old and when the baby can hold their head up independently.
It is important to note that the recommendation is primarily to carry the baby facing the parent, as this is the baby's physiological position and also less strain on the wearer's back. However, the need to carry facing outwards is completely understandable, especially on outings, etc., and it is only possible to carry this way when the baby can hold themselves up independently.
Can the baby be carried with the Lamer X carrier on the back?
The baby can be carried on the back like any cloth carrier. Guidance should be obtained from a developmental counselor.
My husband and I are not the same size, can we use the same carrier?
For the Lamer X fabric carrier - it is important to purchase the appropriate size according to the wearer's body type, where size 1 is suitable for S/M wearers, while size 2 is suitable for L/XL wearers.
Size 3 is suitable for XXL wearers.
If you choose a larger size for both of you, while one of you needs the smaller size - the carrier will be unsafe. Therefore, it is important for each person to choose the exact size for themselves.
For the LAMER B rigid carrier - both partners can use the same carrier even if they are not of similar size, as this carrier adjusts with straps on the body and is suitable for all sizes.
What does pre-order mean? Should you order or wait?
Advance purchase orders are possible for models that are not in stock and are expected to return at the time indicated in the order status. When a pre-ordered model comes back in stock, it is sent first to everyone who pre-ordered it through the website and only then will it be opened for regular purchase on the website.
Can the carrier be washed?
The carrier can be washed in a gentle wash at 30 degrees and dried in the shade.
*The canvas bag that comes with the carrier - not for washing.
What should I do if my fabric baby carrier stretches out too much after use?
To shrink the carrier and return it to its original size - you can wash it at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle, tumble dry (it shrinks it slightly), add the third strap for maximum tightening and security, and make sure the straps are tightened on the wearer's shoulders and not spread out.
Of course, it is important that the size is the correct size and not too large from the start.
